When I download a file, I get the message ‘Cannot transfer download in IDM’. How to resolve this issue?

To rectify this problem, follow the tips given below:

  • Go to Proxy/Socks sections and choose No Proxy/socks
  • Ensure that your browser and IDM are running under the same privileges, i.e., you shouldn’t always run IDM with the administrator
  • Try boosting your system under safe mode
  • Download and replace the Tonec Inc. File.
