The network application or the firewall could be acting as a wall that is not able to comprehend that IDM has closed a socket and wants to cancel the download.
To resolve this issue, follow the steps given below:
- Launch BitDefender and go to its Setting
- Choose General Setting
- Open the Update tab
- Choose Prompt before downloading
- Reboot your system in Safe mode
- Go to C:\Program Files\BitDefender\BitDefender 2016 destination
- Find the bdtl.dll file ren,ame it to bdtl. dl, and restart your system in normal mode.
