“Dashboard & Control Panel Simpler Than Raw VPS”

On raw VPS I spent hours fiddling with server setup. With Cloudways, I can spin up a server, deploy applications, and manage many settings via UI. Saves lots of time.

Pros : The UI is more intuitive than dealing with raw cloud provider consoles; deployments, monitoring, scaling are easier to manage.

Cons : Lack of full low-level control (root access/custom containerization) can frustrate power users.

Switched from : DigitalOcean

Reason to switch : I left raw VPS service because server management consumed too much of my time. Cloudways shifted the burden of infrastructure maintenance onto them so I could focus on my site or app itself.

Reason to switch : I left Lightsail because even though it was affordable, managing everything was more technical. Cloudways gave me managed infrastructure on top of Lightsail-grade cloud resources with easier setup.

Cons : Basic tiers have limited resources (RAM/CPU), so performance can lag under heavy loads.

Reason to switch : I moved from SiteGround because during high traffic my storefront would lag or crash. Cloudways gave me scalable resources and performance optimizations that handle traffic well.

Pros : Cloudways provides migration plugin/tools and their support helps with migrating WordPress/WooCommerce sites.

Cons : Sometimes the migration plugin has bugs, or issues with large sites require manual intervention.

Switched from : GoDaddy

Reason to switch : I was frustrated by GoDaddy's slow migration support and crowded servers. Cloudways gave me a more capable migration path and better hosting performance post-migration.
