ExtremeWireless™ AP 460C Overview

What is ExtremeWireless™ AP 460C?

The ExtremeWireless™ AP 460C is a Tri-Radio that follows cutting-edge radio technology to transmit 802.11ax rate and is made for severe environments, including subzero temperatures and hurricane winds. AP 460C is IP67 rated for outdoors and has three types of antenna versions. These are AP 460C, AP460S6C, and AP460S12C.

Apart from that, it follows Wi-Fi6 Tri-Radios architecture and offers 4x4:4 data speed on 5GHz and 802.11ax 2x2:2 data speed on 2.4GHz simultaneously on both the 5GHz & 2.4GHz radios. Apart from that, this network connecting device also provides the same data speed on the 3rd radio for a complete dual-banded sensor. Tri-Radio Access Points (APs) carry on Extreme’s tradition of being SSRs (software-selectable-radios) with dual 5GHz connections for challenging outdoor conditions.

AP460 was designed to handle the issues posed by the growing number of users, devices, things, applications, and threats that are putting a strain on the infrastructure. Moreover, ExtremeWireless AP 460C is an enterprise-class offering that combines robust 802.11ax Wi-Fi6 technology, AI/ML management functionalities, andcutting-edge security to let you deliver fast, highly encrypted Wi-Fi in the most challenging environments.
