“One of the Best Customer Support”

Intego has one of the best customers supports out there. They have been helpful whenever I have had an issue which made troubleshooting a lot easier. Although, I sometimes think that if it as trustworthy since it is not as well-known as other solutions.

Pros : I love the fact that it offers some of the best customer support. Intego’s customer support has been helpful whenever I needed assistance which makes it easier to resolve any issues quickly.

Cons : I sometimes wonder if it is not as trustworthy or effective as some of the big names out there since it is not widely known as some brands.

Switched from : Webroot SecureAnywhere

Reason to switch : I switched from Webroot SecureAnywhere since they did not a better customer service than Intego.

“Features Need Manual Setup”

The Mac cleaner tools are helpful for keeping my system running smoothly by removing unnecessary files and programs. Yet, I did find that some features like the firewall require manual configuration which was a bit confusing.

Pros : Being a Mac user and having Intego really works well. It has these Mac cleaner tools that help me keep my system running smoothly by removing unnecessary files and clutter.

Switched from : Sophos

Reason to switch : I moved to Intego since Sophos did not offer the Mac-specific features and Intego’s cleaner tools and overall optimization made my Mac feel faster.

“Interface can be Overwhelming but Great Firewall”

Intego's integrated firewall gives my network an additional degree of security. However, I found the interface to be pretty overwhelming after using it for a few months. While user-friendly, there are so many features that feel too much.

Pros : Love that Intego has a built-in firewall, it is a bonus for me and adds an extra layer of security to protect my network.

Cons : While using it for 2 months I found it the interface to be a bit much. While the interface is user-friendly there are so many features that feel overwhelming.

Switched from : Malwarebytes

Reason to switch : Malwarebytes did not offer as many advanced features as Intego and I wanted something that could provide a more complete protection.
