Where are the backups stored in Altaro?

To add a host to Altaro VM Backup, you'll navigate to the 'Hosts' section in the Altaro VM Backup management console, then click the 'Add Host' button.

To add a network location in Altaro VM Backup, navigate to Setup > Backup Locations and click Add Backup Location. Select Network Path and enter the UNC path, then provide credentials if needed. Finally, click Finish.

Altaro VM Backup uses Grandfather-Father-Son (GFS) archiving for backup version retention, allowing for multiple backup versions at different intervals.

To back up your VM files using Altaro VM Backup, you'll need to log into your Hyper-V host, download and install Altaro Backup, connect to the desired machine, add a backup location, select the VMs to back up, and then initiate the backup process by clicking 'Take Backup'.

To retrieve files from iCloud, follow the steps given below:

• Open the iCloud website (www.icloud.com) and log in with your Apple ID.
• Click on 'iCloud Drive' to access your stored files.
• Move through folders to find the file you want to retrieve.
• Select the file, then click the download icon to save it to your computer.
