“An upgrade from general storage platforms”

Pros : Hitachi VSP E790 ensures consistent storage capabilities compared to the other options which I previously used. For me, the availability of 24 internal drive slots and less than 66uS latency along with industry-grade IOPS are the real deal makers. Other useful facilities are efficient data services, intuitive interface and detailed analytics.

Cons : Hitachi VSPE790 is a bit slow with its performance while solving out mission-critical issues.

Reason to switch : Overall bandwidth of 32Gb/s makes Hitachi VSP E790 a great pick.

“Huge savings with pay per use costs”

Pros : Array-based rapid setup facilities offered by Hitachi Virtual Platform (VSP) E790 along with a system-level command management facility are quite helpful. Also, it supports flexible usage and pay per use pricing. As a result, we have been able to save a significant amount on storage in the last 6 months.

Cons : Looking for better upgrade options to support my ever increasing application workload.

Reason to switch : Storage virtualization with complete data availability are the reasons to invest in Hitachi Virtual Platform (VSP) E790

“An advanced option for expanding your storage needs”

Pros : Hitachi (VSP) E790 a good mix of efficient bandwidth and affordable price points. The non-disruptive migration facility offered by the same turned out to be of great use for my business and I could migrate to the full OpsCenter Suite as per convenience. I was able to use the 7:1 total efficiency guarantee as well.

Cons : No problem as such, however, the remote support facility needs to improve.

Reason to switch : Data at rest encryption is thoroughly taken care of by Hitachi Virtual Storage Platform (VSP) E790.
