Illustrative art is a powerful art form that clarifies, illuminates or merely decorates a written text into life. The software contains all the familiar tools of sketching fit into a digital space. It consists of pencils, markers, inks, and 190+ customizable brushes to incorporate both shapes and textures. The most used tool by designers, the Copic Color Library, is also available with Sketchbook.

In order to draw accurate lines, you can opt for ellipse guides, traditional rulers or the 16-sector Predictive Stroke and Radial Symmetry features. These features not only help in drawing specific lines but also assist in smoothing them out. One can export their art as a JPG, PNG or a PSD file across devices. You can preserve your layered PSD files in both imports and exports, including layer names, blending modes and groups.
