You can convert a folder into a ZIP file using the built-in features of your operating system. This process is called compressing or zipping. Below are instructions for Windows, macOS, and Linux.

On Windows

Navigate to the folder you want to zip using File Explorer.
Right-click the folder.
Hover your cursor over Send to in the context menu.
Select Compressed (zipped) folder from the submenu.
