“Flexible Scans but Full Scans Take Time”

I appreciate how NPAV's customized scanning options allow me to schedule scans or perform fast inspections as needed. However, compared to other antivirus programs, full scans take longer than I anticipated, which might be annoying.

Pros : Very customizable scanning options, I like that I can schedule scans or run quick scans as needed.

Cons : Although it gives customizable scanning options, running a complete scan takes longer than expected compared to other antivirus tools.

Switched from : Avast Antivirus

Reason to switch : I wanted greater control over my scanning choices without shelling out a lot of money for a security suite, so I moved away from Avast. In that sense, NPAV has been effective for me.

“Proud to Support a Local Brand”

It's wonderful to support an indigenous cybersecurity solution, and I adore that NPAV is an Indian business. I wish they would lessen the frequent commercial pop-ups, though, as they may occasionally be annoying.

Pros : I am all about going local, so I was happy to hear that NPAV Net Protector Total Security was an Indian brand, and it feels good to support a homegrown cybersecurity solution.

Cons : I find it distracting how the software sometimes shows of promotional pop-ups.

Switched from : AV3 Tools

Reason to switch : I left AV3 Tools because I needed dependable antivirus protection and to support a local brand. For that, NPAV appeared to be the ideal choice.

“Works Well on Older PCs”

NAV works smoothly even on my older computer, which is huge since I do not have the latest hardware. The firewall settings could be more user-friendly and customizable.

Pros : I love how timeless it is since it requires the bare minimum of system requirements, even my older machine runs it without any issues.

Cons : The firewall settings are not as flexible or intuitive as I would’ve liked them to be.

Switched from : AdGuard

Reason to switch : I moved from AdGuard since I needed an antivirus solution that runs on older systems.
