Q. Where in the system should you go to enter attendance information.

Go to My Timesheets in Office Timer timesheet management system Click on Day View Scroll down to enter the attendance details for that particular day.


Q. How do I set approvals . My users time sheets are getting auto-approved?

Approvals are set in Projects in the Office Timer timesheet software. You can choose who approves the timesheet of that particular project.


Q. How can the overtime be seen in a separated spreadsheet or field? I am looking to have an easier way to find/see the amount of overtime executed by each employee.

You can get Work Type(standard, overtime, travel) in your TimeSheet by adding a work type column into the timesheet. In the work type drop-down menu, you can select overtime and enter the values in TimeSheet. To get Work Type(standard, overtime, travel) in your Office Timer Attendance Software timesheet Goto Admin options–>preferences in that check “show Work Type in TimeSheet” checkbox.


Q. How do I change a Holiday type for an employee? They entered the Holiday under the wrong Task and I need to move the time they entered to another Task for holidays.

Open Master Data–> Advanced Settings–> Preferences Go to TimeOff SetUp Tab Uncheck the Lock Submitted Records In TimeOff option which will allow the employee to Edit the TimeOff which is submitted and Not Approved so that Employee can Edit that particular TimeOff project.


Q. How to correct a timesheet or a timeoff that is already approved and is locked?

Step 1: Click on “Admin Options” and in the admin options page click on “Time Entry Archive”. Step 2: In the succeeding screen, select the employee name. Choose the “Start Date” and “End Date” of the timesheet period which you want to unsubmit and unapprove And then click on “show”. Step 3: Click on Edit and Uncheck the “Submitted” and “Approved” check box. And then click on “Update”. Doing this for any one date will unsubmit and unapprove the timesheet for the entire timesheet period (week/biweek/month etc). You can also delete the approved / submitted timesheet or timeoff entries here.
