“This software has made my life easier”

Pros : Thanks to this tool, I have managed to deliver high-quality designs for my customers in a short span of time. Once this system is configured, it's easy to use. Plus, every detail of the design can be clearly seen on the schematics, from terminals to labels, and this reduces the built time by 50%. I highly recommend this software to others.

Cons : For a new user here, it can be a bit hard to understand what's going on. But it also has an online support feature which helps us in any way.

“Wonderful Design Tool”

Pros : Eplan P8 is an awesome design tool and it comes with all that we need to design and draw pneumatic and electrical schematics. The ease of creating BOMs and reports from the schematics makes this a must have tool in your machinery design. With only a few simple actions, we can easily get production information from the data portal. Plus, It is easy to import and export 3D models and 2D drawings, plus the file management is amazing.

Cons : I haven’t found any cons in this tool.

Reason to switch : High cost and Steep learning curve.

“Best electrical design software. Just go for it!”

Pros : Eplan-electric-p8 is one of the most important software for electrical engineers because they can design single line diagrams and lighting and socket layouts by using this software. It is really user friendly because we can use everything using separate layers and after that we can operate these things as per those layers. So, it is easy to isolate the lines according to the layers and therefore redesigning is very simple. Moreover, numerous shortcut keys make the work easier for designers.

Cons : No cons so far.

“Powerful and reliable tool”

Pros : This tool is simple to use, even for novices, plus there are numerous tutorials available online. It can be used to create an extensive style of electric schematics, along with PLC schematics, single-line diagrams, and automation diagrams. The pricing is also very reasonable, considering the functions which are provided and it's compatible with other software. You can easily import and export information from other CAD software programs.

Cons : User interface is not comfortable for usage

“Brilliant Software for 2D & 3D Designs”

Pros : One of the best electrical design tools that we have used in our company. The library is quite good and comes with a lot of component symbols and catalogs. It is an excellent tool for creating electrical schematics and organizing electrical projects. Moreover, connecting multiple wires at a time and auto-wire labels is great.

Cons : Integration is not good with some software.
