“Setup Was Breeze for My Startup”

Onboarding everyone was quick. The setup wizard helped, but customizing roles, PTO types, and timesheet policies took us about half a day to fine-tune. Worth it though.

“Supports Integrations—Payroll Sync Is Solid”

We switched from ADP Workforce Now. Buddy Punch punches straight into QuickBooks with no extra steps. There was a setup tweak needed, but support guided me through it. It doesn’t work with our legacy payroll software though.

Pros : Good integrations with QuickBooks, Gusto, ADP

Cons : Some payroll tools aren’t supported

“PTO Requests & Scheduling? Yes, please!”

I didn’t expect it, but having a team calendar and PTO requests all in one place is a lifesaver. We track vacations and shifts now—beats juggling spreadsheets. I wish there was a dedicated “lunch” punch rather than just a generic break.

“Clocking In Made Easy for Everyone”

“Mobile Punches Work Well—Sort Of”

Field employees love punching from their phones. It logs GPS coordinates. But when someone is offline, there's no offline mode—they can’t punch until they get back online.

“GPS & Facial Recognition = Accountability”

I'm managing a field team now—they switch jobs daily and clock in only from assigned locations. GPS works great. Facial recognition ensures the right person is punching in. A couple of them dislike the surveillance, but it’s effective for accountability.

Pros : Geofencing and faceID add security

Cons : Some find it too “big brother”

We had a glitch with pay rate settings, and Buddy Punch support jumped in fast to help. Most issues are resolved in a day or two—though larger feature requests take longer. At least I’m talking to humans, not bots.
