As an education institution/provider, clarity matters to me. I want agents to have correct program & fee info so that expectations are met. Using Edvisor helps me ensure information accuracy and reduces mis-quotes or misaligned expectations.

Pros : Edvisor is very clear about how providers update pricing, promotions, school details; I don’t feel hidden fees or surprises. The service claims “No commission taken by Edvisor on applications sent” gives me clarity.

Cons : Because providers manage data themselves, sometimes data quality varies. Also, when providers are slow to update, listings may show outdated promotions until correction.

Reason to switch : I moved from a platform where data updates were handled by third parties (delays, errors) to Edvisor because it allows provider-self updating, which gives me more control and reduces errors in what is shown to agents and students.
