“Support and accuracy guarantee give peace of mind”

I liked that FreeTaxUSA backed their service with guaranteed accuracy. For someone like me who doesn’t do taxes daily, that was important. The support team helped me when I had a question about a form.

Pros : FreeTaxUSA advertises guarantees: “Maximum Refund Guarantee” and “Always Free Federal Guarantee.”

Cons : Took me about two hours just trying to get to Pro support

For my tax situation (W-2 job, some stock sales) FreeTaxUSA was perfect. But I am flagging that if you’re dealing with many states or large business structures, you should check features. For most people it’s more than enough.

Reason to switch : We switched because H&R Block’s Premium tier cost more and for our simpler situation it felt overkill. FreeTaxUSA matched our needs at much lower cost.
