“Great for Billing, But Watch the Inventory Depth”

In my retail store (clothing & accessories) the day-to-day billing is much smoother via Accountune. Cashiers can issue invoices, track receipts, and we have better clarity on income/outgoings. However, as our inventory grew across stores I found some manual work creeping back in.

Pros : I appreciate the fast invoice creation with branding and GST built-in. The ability to send payment reminders and track overdue bills has kept my cash-flow tidier.

Cons : The stock management system is good for simple use-cases (small retail) but for multi-warehouse / expiry-tracking I still feel it’s limited.

Switched from : TallyPrime

Reason to switch : I originally used TallyPrime but found it cumbersome for mobile billing and remote access. Accountune offered cloud/mobile ease and more intuitive billing for my staff.

“Finally GST & Compliance Without the Headache”

When I switched to Accountune, the GST burden dropped: invoices auto-apply tax slabs, the dashboard shows where we stand, and there’s less ad-hoc CA work just to get the numbers ready. It’s been a time-saver.

Pros : The software automates GST calculation, tracks input credits, and prepares filing-ready reports. Great for our Indian business.

Cons : For more complex tax/filing scenarios (multiple GST registrations, export sales) I found I still needed some manual review.

Switched from : Busy Accounting Software

Reason to switch : I came from Busy because while it offered strong GST and inventory features, I found the interface dated and mobile workflows weak. Accountune gave cleaner UX and better mobile access.

Pros : The pricing and simplicity of Accountune make it ideal for a startup: we get invoices, expense tracking, GST ready reporting without huge spend.

Cons : It lacks some high-end features (advanced ERP, deep customisation) which larger companies might need.

Switched from : Marg ERP 9+

Reason to switch : I initially considered Marg ERP (good for manufacturing/distribution) but it was over-kill for us. We switched to Accountune for simpler, cost-effective accounting.

“For My Service-Business It Hits The Right Notes”

In my consulting firm (cloud kitchens and F&B sector), I needed an accounting tool that could handle invoices, purchases, and give me quick reporting, without too many bells and whistles. Accountune delivered exactly that.

Pros : The mobile & desktop access, clean UI, GST-ready invoicing and simple expense tracking align well with my consultancy business.

Cons : For product-heavy businesses (complex manufacturing/inventory) it might not provide all advanced modules I’d need.

Switched from : Zoho Books

Reason to switch : I switched from Zoho Books as I found its UI and modules better suited for product firms; Accountune felt more streamlined for service firms and Indian compliance.

“Switch-over Was Faster Than I Expected”

Changing accounting systems always sounds scary. But Accountune’s setup and support made the switch manageable. The user-interface is cleaner than our old tool, and the team could adapt quickly.

Pros : The onboarding to Accountune was relatively smooth; I had invoices live within a week, purchase tracking set up, and team trained.

Cons : Migrating older transactional data required manual CSV import, which took some effort.

Switched from : TallyPrime

Reason to switch : We moved off TallyPrime because its migration and mobile workflows were more painful; Accountune gave a faster transition and modern UI.

As a founder I appreciate seeing a one-page view of my business finances. With Accountune I can see where money is coming in and going out, which gives me confidence in discussions with investors and banks.

Pros : The analytics dashboard shows sales, purchases, cash-left-after-bills; helps me make decisions.

Cons : The dashboard is good but I wish I could build more custom-widgets (e.g., by client, by product) easily.

Reason to switch : I used ProfitBooks but found its analytics less polished; Accountune offered better dashboards tailored to Indian business context.

“Good for Small Team, But Will It Scale?”

At our digital-agency we needed an accounting system that non-finance staff could use for billing/purchases and finance staff for reporting. Accountune handled that well. But as we grow further (20+ staff, more locations) I’m watching whether it scales.

Pros : For our team of ~10, Accountune works nicely: users can be added, permissions are clearer, and we are unified under one platform.

Cons : When we tried to split departments or customise workflows heavily, it felt less configurable than enterprise-level tools.

Switched from : Xero Accounting Software

Reason to switch : We used Xero before but found local Indian compliance modules weak and costs higher. Accountune gave us localised features at better value.

Pros : Switching to Accountune has made expense and income tracking straightforward the dashboard tells me what’s left after bills, and bills/invoices are easier to handle.

Cons : The reporting (trial balance, balance sheet) is present but feels less flexible if I want custom fields or very deep analysis.

Switched from : Zoho Books

Reason to switch : I moved from Zoho Books because I felt Zoho’s UI and modules were more general, whereas Accountune felt built for Indian SMEs (GST + mobile + quick invoicing) and so promised faster onboarding for me.

Pros : The mobile version of Accountune is intuitive: I can access receipts, see updates on sales/purchases, record expenses on the go.

Cons : Some advanced features still feel desktop-centric or require export/import rather than fully mobile workflows.

Switched from : Vyapar Billing & Accounting Software

Reason to switch : I used Vyapar earlier (great for simple billing) but as my business grew, I needed better financial reports and GST compliance Accountune stepped up those features.

Pros : I love that I can generate GST-compliant invoices from my phone in seconds full custom branding, share via WhatsApp/email, and the dashboard shows real-time sales and purchases.

Cons : The inventory/stock module feels a bit basic compared to some deep inventory-management tools; for large warehouses I still had to export data manually.

Reason to switch : I moved from QuickBooks India because, while it was good, I found the Indian-GST compliance modules and mobile invoicing slightly clunky. Accountune offered a more Indian-SME friendly interface and mobile billing focus.
