“Mera Monitor Gave Us the Confidence to Shift From Hybrid to Full Work From Home”

We are an IT company that wanted to move towards a WFH policy but struggled badly when we first attempted a hybrid setup. Work was visibly affected for almost a quarter and we were seriously considering pulling everyone back to the office. That's when we came across Mera Monitor. We used it through a transitional hybrid phase, and the visibility and accountability it brought was a game changer. Within a couple of months we had the confidence to go fully remote. I genuinely don't think we would have made that shift without it.

Pros : The biggest win for us was transparency. In an office, you naturally see people working - that visibility disappears the moment teams go remote, and that gap was hurting us. Mera Monitor brought that visibility back without making it feel like surveillance. The Time Tracker and Productivity vs Idle Reports gave managers real data to work with instead of assumptions. Attendance tracking became effortless across locations. The tool essentially replicated the accountability of an in-office environment in a remote setup, which is exactly what we needed. Onboarding was smooth, the pricing made sense for our team size, and the platform has been stable throughout our use.

Cons : The email alert system needs work. On an active day, the volume of notification emails becomes overwhelming very quickly - it essentially floods your inbox and you end up ignoring them altogether, which defeats the purpose. Alerts should either be configurable by frequency, batched into a daily or hourly digest, or give users control over what triggers a notification. The concept is useful but the current implementation needs a smarter approach to actually be actionable.

Reason to switch : Mera Monitor helps us track attendance, monitor productive hours, and identify idle time across our remote team — all in one place. As a manager, I no longer have to rely on check-in calls or assumptions to know if work is on track. The daily reports give me a clear picture of team activity without micromanaging. It essentially replaced the natural oversight you get in an office environment and made remote work operationally viable for us.

Mera Monitor has helped us get much better visibility into team productivity and work-hour utilization. The reporting structure is detailed yet easy to understand, especially for tracking active time, idle time, application usage, and attendance. The platform is lightweight, easy to deploy, and the support team has been responsive whenever required.

Pros : What we liked most about Mera Monitor was how simple and practical the platform is for day-to-day management. The setup process was smooth, and the dashboard gives very clear visibility into employee productivity, attendance, active/idle time, and application usage. Features like website tracking, screenshots, and productivity categorization help managers understand actual work patterns instead of relying on assumptions. The reporting is detailed but still easy to understand, which makes operational reviews much easier. Their onboarding and support team has also been very responsive whenever we needed assistance.

Cons : Some features take a little time for teams to fully understand during the initial onboarding phase because of the depth of reporting available. However, the support team has been proactive in addressing queries and continuously helping with configurations and guidance whenever needed.

Their support team responds quickly whenever help is needed, which builds trust for long-term use.

Cons : The interface works well but could offer more options for visual customization. Certain reports would be clearer with added summary sections for faster review. Mobile usability could also be improved for managers who need updates on the go. These are small areas for enhancement and do not impact the overall effectiveness of the software.
