ActCAD is a Computer Aided Design software that allows 2D and 3D design modelling. It has a very simple interface with rich tools that help to make designs easier and support various files like DWG and DXF formats. It is built using an IntelliCAD engine to draft 2D designs, 3D ACIS modeling, and AEC object designs. It contains tool pallets that can be easily browsed for commands, views, symbols, etc. Additional tabs can be added to the tool palettes as desired.

It supports programming languages such as LISP, DCL, SDS, Object IRX, and .Net and has built-in converters and a block symbol library. It also provides View Cube in model space, 3D walkthroughs, visual styles, and exporting of files in formats like PDF and SVG, DAE, STEP/.STP etc.
