Embed the Image into the Title Block

  • Inventor does not truly embed external images into .idw files or templates.
  • It stores a reference to the image file -so if the image moves or isn't found in the project paths, you get the dialogue.

To Verify the Image Path:

  1. Open the .idw template.
  2. Go to Manage > Styles Editor > Title Block.
  3. Edit the title block and check the image path.
  4. Make sure it's pointing to a valid, project-included location.
