“Perfect for GST compliance, easy for accountants”

I switched from Zoho Books because I needed deeper GST reporting and inventory tracking. Busy?Saffron gave me full GST 1/2B/3B reconciliation, batch-wise stock, multi price lists—and all of it works even for multiple companies and financial years. The interface is a bit old-school, and large ledgers might lag, but overall it works solidly.

“Excel lovers rejoice—exports and reports are smooth”

Coming from TallyPrime, I appreciate Busy’s ability to export detailed ledgers and summaries directly into Excel or Google Sheets. The dashboard is intuitive and makes my bookkeeping quicker. Only gripe: if you accidentally hit Escape, your voucher entry is lost—there’s no auto save.

I moved from Marg ERP because I wanted better ageing and credit analysis features. Busy Saffron gives bill wise receivable/pricings, ratio analysis, profit margin metrics, and configurable MIS reporting. But the menu hierarchy is deep—finding specific reports can feel tricky at first.

Coming off Zoho Books, I needed cheque/post-dated tracking and bank reconciliation with auto-post interest—even credit limit warnings. Busy handles all that neatly. However, reconciling multiple years at once made the software very slow.
