“Thanks to Mygate”

We’ve been using MyGate for over a year now, and the difference it’s made in how our society functions is night and day. What started as a billing solution has now become the nerve center of our community operations—from complaints to vendor payments, and from notices to polling.

Pros : 1. Seamless Communication: The broadcast feature alone has reduced over 70% of our security office calls. Notices go out instantly, residents get push alerts, and there's a clear log of who has seen them. 2. Smart Payment System: After integrating our payment gateway, we saw a 20% jump in on-time payments. No more chasing residents or sending reminders manually—MyGate handles it all with receipts and logs. 3. Data-Driven Decision Making: Amenity usage, complaint trends, vendor attendance—all available as reports. We’ve made changes like gym timing extensions based on actual usage data. Residents trust the process more now. 4. Custom Billing Flexibility: We have villas and apartments, senior citizens, and special waste pickup charges. MyGate handled complex billing setups without custom development. Adda couldn’t manage this for us earlier. 5. Role-Based Access: Committee members, sub-committees, and even vendors have different access rights. No risk of accidental edits or data leaks. 6. Simplified Handover: As our committee term ends, we’re finally not stressed about transition. Every document, decision trail, contract, and payment record is in one place. 7. Reliable Support: The MyGate team has been responsive to feedback. Some small features we requested were actually implemented in updates.

Cons : 1. Learning Curve for Older Members: While most people adapted quickly, senior residents needed some guidance initially—especially for digital voting and service ticket raising. 2. Limited Custom Reporting (for now): The reports are solid, but advanced custom filtering (like multiple categories at once or cross-year comparisons) would be a welcome addition. 3. Notification Overload: Some residents have mentioned too many app notifications, especially during festivals or maintenance weeks. A digest mode could help.

“From Chaos to Clarity: Managing Vendor Tasks with Mygate”

We've been using Mygate for vendor task assignments for the past six months, and it's brought serious accountability into play. Our internal team now logs requests, assigns vendors, and marks closure inside the system. No more vendor saying "I was never told" or "the job was already done". If something stays open, we know who it's stuck with.

Pros : Enhanced Accountability: Every task is logged, assigned, and tracked within the system so there's no room for miscommunication or blame-shifting. End-to-End Visibility: From request creation to task closure, the entire workflow is transparent. You always know who is responsible and where things are stuck. Streamlined Workflow: Internal teams can assign jobs directly to vendors without messy follow-ups—everything stays organized in one place.

Cons : While Mygate’s vendor task assignment feature improves accountability, it does come with a few challenges. Some vendors, especially smaller or older ones, may struggle with the app due to limited tech familiarity. Without regular follow-up from the admin team, tasks can remain open even when completed.

“Convenient, User-Friendly, and Effective”

To manage quality, efficiency, costs, you need good reports (e.g. work-in-process, productivity, scrap, defects, order status). Geneva offers many built-in reporting tools (and supports custom reports) for shop floor control, inventory tracking, order status, etc. Traceability (e.g. serial numbers) is also supported.

Pros : Built for RWAs like ours

Cons : Unlike generic tools, Mygate feels tailor-made for residential societies. ERP features like bulk invoice posting, defaulter tracking, side-by-side invoice preview, and consolidated reports are designed specifically for RWAs. Combined with communication modules and helpdesk management, it simplifies complex operations. Other tools provide generic accounting or security, but fail to integrate everything for society management. Mygate’s holistic approach ensures smooth functioning, reduces errors, and saves significant time for committee members.

With over 2,000 flats, raising invoices individually was impractical. Mygate’s bulk posting lets us generate and post invoices for all units in a single step. Accuracy is maintained, and errors that were common in ApnaComplex are eliminated. Side-by-side invoice previews, defaulter blocking, and consolidated reporting all enhance efficiency. Cons : The dashboard could be more customizable for large societies with specific reporting needs. Integration with external accounting/payment tools can be smoother.

“From chaos to clarity”

Before Mygate, we used NBH and manual Excel sheets for accounting. It was chaotic. With Mygate, everything is under one roof. The ERP module tracks dues, payments, and reconciliations automatically. The communication feature ensures every resident knows what’s happening. We finally feel like a professional organisation rather than a volunteer group.

Pros : Most software companies launch and then forget. Mygate is different. They’ve constantly rolled out updates, be it a more powerful audit report, better staff management, or integration with payment gateways. Our committee feels we’re backed by a company that thinks ahead. With Adda, we always had to request features that never came. Mygate just delivers.

Cons : For smaller societies, pricing can feel steep compared to simpler visitor-only management apps.

“Simple enough even for seniors”

Initially hesitant about apps, I found Mygate straightforward & simple to navigate. Approving guests & receiving alerts is easy, making me feel more secure at home.

Pros : Mygate is very user-friendly, even for senior users. Clear alerts & notifications enhance security, while hassle-free guest approvals offer added convenience & peace of mind.

Cons : A smartphone is necessary to use all features, and some users new to apps might experience a brief learning curve.

“Mygate is Trustworthy Platform!”

Pros : I have used them twice. The first time the download was easy. The second time I had a couple of problems getting the download to work but the company responded to my need for help very quickly and got the issues resolved.
