“Simple, practical accounting for freelancers and small businesses”

Refrens solves the problem of lightweight, affordable accounting for freelancers and small teams. It removes the need for spreadsheets or overly complex accounting software, saving time and reducing errors. It lets me focus more on running the business instead of managing finances.

Pros : Refrens keeps things simple and practical. The UI is clean, invoices are quick to create, and it doesn’t feel bloated with features I don’t need. It’s especially useful for freelancers and small businesses because you can manage invoicing, expenses, and basic accounting in one place without needing deep accounting knowledge.

Cons : The free version could be expanded further to offer more flexibility and practical value for small businesses and freelancers. While it works well for basic invoicing and record-keeping, access to a few more customization options, reporting features, and limited automation would make it significantly more useful at an early stage. This would allow users to properly test the platform’s full potential before committing to a paid plan.

“Best Accounting App. Easy to Use”

Using Refrens has been a huge relief for me as a business owner. Not having formal accounting experience, the system has been very easy to use with its simple and straightforward interface for quickly creating invoices, receipts, quotations and more of that nature. True value. I would recommend

Pros : Very easy to use and learn. Afforable compared to alternatives, and you get all the features you need. Easy customization and conversion of quotations to invoices then receipts.

Cons : If you're using the free plan, you will get less capacity to customize your documents according to your brand. But the paid version solve this.

“Exceptional accounting software for small businesses”

All in one accounting software at affordable prices.

Pros : I came across Refrens while looking for a software for creating invoices, quotations, managing inventory and other necessities for a small business like mine. Refrens is the only software which was able to check all these requirements, that too at amazing price deals!

Cons : None that I have noticed so far.

Switched from : Zoho Books

Reason to switch : I switched to Refrens as I was able to get all the needed features at highly affordable prices.

“Super excellent, easy to use anywhere anytime.”

As someone who is always on sites, its easy to create invoices and quotations via my phone and it reminds me of pending invoices thorough emails and notifications

Pros : A lot, easy to use as a first time director nonneed to hire someone for billings and accounting. The templates designs are excellent and agencies helps you within a minute via WhatsApp they're reliable.

“Best product at the price range.”

The ux is smooth like better. Exisiting invoice templates are really beautiful

Pros : Better UX and super easy to use and very good ux Easy to implement. Pre-built templates.

Cons : Don't use anything other than invoice generation so can't comment

We have been using Refrens accounting since 2 years and the experience is incredibly great. The UI features are excellent and the other features like Invoicing and Accounting are unimaginable. This is the best Invoicing All in One Software at an affordable cost for any Business.

“Fast Invoicing and Billing”

Refrens makes it easy for me to track my clients arrears, invoices and bills in an automated way. The money trail is clear and all the clients details are safe and organized.

Pros : Variety of services from billing of invoicing to receipting, then accounting and fiancé tools and even a business profile option. Every service provided is efficient and easy to use. Integrations to WhatsApp, bank and even email are available increasing the service automation spread as well automated client updates.

Cons : Not enough information on how to use the accounting and finance side of the system. Tutorials and guides should be put in place to help users utilize it or just get general knowledge on the opportunity present there in on the accounting end of the app.

Reason to switch : Repetitive tasks and creating client documents and sending them is automated for me so that the manual process I'd have gone through isn't there any more. Clients easily access the documents via whatsapp or email once created. So my biggest win with refrains is automation.
