“Needs major improvement in accounting and customer support”
We’ve been using NoBrokerHood for our society for over a year, and while the app covers the basics like visitor entry and announcements, it struggles when it comes to society accounting and support.
The accounting dashboard is not intuitive — invoices and reconciliations often require manual corrections. There are frequent sync delays between payment status and resident ledgers, which makes it hard for treasurers to close accounts on time.
Customer support also needs attention. Ticket responses take several days, and many issues get marked “resolved” without actual fixes. Even simple feature requests (like customized billing or report downloads) take months.
From a resident’s perspective, notifications are inconsistent, and the app feels cluttered. It tries to do everything but doesn’t go deep in key areas like accounting, communication, or vendor tracking.
Overall, NoBrokerHood works for very small societies focused mainly on visitor management, but it’s not reliable enough for large communities that need structured accounting, transparency, and responsive support.
Pros :
We’ve been using NoBrokerHood in our society for a while, and it offers a mix of useful features and noticeable gaps. On the positive side, the app does a decent job in basic visitor management and entry tracking. The guard app is fairly simple to use, and residents get instant notifications when someone arrives at the gate. It also supports announcements and complaint logging, which help keep residents connected at a basic level.
Cons :
However, when it comes to society accounting, automation, and overall reliability, NoBrokerHood feels underdeveloped. The billing and reconciliation process is not seamless, and treasurers often have to double-check entries or manually update payment statuses. Reports take time to generate, and the dashboard design isn’t intuitive, making it harder for committees to manage large communities efficiently. Customer support response times are another pain point — tickets often go unanswered for days, and updates are slow.
Reason to switch :
NoBrokerHood helps with a few basic tasks like visitor entry approvals, staff attendance, and notice broadcasts, which makes day-to-day coordination a bit easier. The guards find it simple to log visitors, and residents appreciate getting instant entry notifications.
