Add ReviewOverall, users appreciate Deel for its robust features, especially in global payroll, compliance, and contractor management, which significantly reduce administrative burdens and legal risks. Many find the platform's intuitive interface and integrations with accounting tools beneficial for managing international teams. However, common concerns include high costs for add-ons, inconsistent customer support, and occasional issues with the mobile experience. Smaller companies, in particular, feel they may be paying for features they don't fully utilize.
Pros
"Deel is praised for its intuitive dashboard, ability to reduce administrative load, and helpful global hiring/contractor tools."
"Deel supports many countries, has many payment methods, and automates much of the compliance workflow."
"Deel’s contract templates are automatically tailored by country law, and the outsourced legal exposure (risk) is significantly reduced."
Cons
"Some reviews say support is inconsistent, especially for urgent payroll issues; sometimes you feel your ticket is delayed or answered with a generic response. "
"Some users complain about less favorable currency exchange rates or fees when converting. Also, mobile/2FA delays crop up. "
"Sometimes templates aren’t perfectly customizable for very niche clauses; taxes and compliance deep detail may still need manual review."

“Impressive Features, But For Growth-Stage Companies Mostly”
As our company scaled globally, Deel’s advanced tools helped us manage contracts, payroll, and compliance more confidently. The cost is high, but the benefit of avoiding legal missteps is huge.
Pros
Deel’s features for performance tracking (via its “Engage” add-on), accounting integrations, HR tools, and compliance are quite advanced.
Cons
The full suite (with add-ons) becomes expensive; some features like performance management or learning/talent management are still add-ons rather than included.
Reason to switch
I switched away from a Gusto because Deel gave me everything under one roof—global payroll, compliance, contractor and employee management—in a single platform.

“Strong Platform, But Customer Support Needs Work”
I switched from another payroll provider because Deel offered all the tools I needed. But when payroll errors happen, getting timely help is still a pain. Overall, it’s still better.
Pros
Deel is praised for its intuitive dashboard, ability to reduce administrative load, and helpful global hiring/contractor tools.
Cons
Some reviews say support is inconsistent, especially for urgent payroll issues; sometimes you feel your ticket is delayed or answered with a generic response.
Reason to switch
I moved from Papaya Global because their support for certain countries wasn't strong. Deel had better support and tools for the jurisdictions I hire in.

“Great Global Reach, But Pricing & Exchange Rates Bite Sometimes”
For remote teams spread across time zones and countries, Deel’s global payroll and contractor tools are fantastic. But I do sometimes lose money on exchange and wish the mobile experience were smoother.
Pros
Deel supports many countries, has many payment methods, and automates much of the compliance workflow.
Cons
Some users complain about less favorable currency exchange rates or fees when converting. Also, mobile/2FA delays crop up.
Reason to switch
I left Remote because Deel offered more coverage across countries and better compliance, even if it meant occasional small fees in exchange rates.
