“Great for improving image quality quickly”

Luminar has sped up my workflow. It’s a great tool for photographers who want to make their images pop with minimal effort. The software is user-friendly, and the results are always top-notch.

Pros : The AI tools in Luminar Neo are outstanding. From sky replacement to automatic subject enhancement, every feature works smoothly and saves time. I particularly appreciate how it handles lighting, exposure, and contrast improvements in just one click. It makes my workflow much more efficient and helps me meet tight deadlines without compromising image quality. The intuitive interface and customizable templates are also big advantages, allowing me to quickly apply consistent edits across multiple photos. This software is very good for modern photographers.

Cons : For basic edits like cropping, light adjustments, and straightening, Luminar works perfectly. However, I still use other tools like Photoshop for more complex retouching tasks, such as detailed object removal or advanced layer-based editing. Luminar Neo is brilliant at speeding up the editing process for general photography, but those who need pixel-perfect control might miss some advanced features. Still, this isn’t really a drawback if your main goal is fast and professional-looking results without the steep learning curve.

“Best AI Photo editor”

I like this tool, especially AI features. Enhance AI, Auto Adjust and Batch editing save my time. Good and cheap alternative to Photoshop.

Pros : Gives AI features (Enhance AI, Sky AI, Auto Adjust, Color Transfer, etc), Batch editing Provides all Basic features for photo editing and Excellent Support (I had some troubles with payment, but Skylum support solved it easily and really fast. UI design - intuitive design also saves you time, because it is really clear to find the necessary adjustments.

Cons : Sometimes Luminar Neo works a bit slowly, especially if you use the batch editing for a big amount of pictures. Good idea - to give an access to editing while system saves your photos through the batch editor. But if you are not hurry up, it won't be a big problem for you. Extra purchases: if you want to get new feature, you should pay for this. Yes, you will pay for these features only once. But if the current features are enough for you, you can use it all the time without paying.

Reason to switch : I don't like subscription plans. Especially with Adobe, company changes their prices every year. Yes, it works sometimes better (faster and some tools work bettes such as masking), but it doesn't worth it, when there are many good and cheap alternatives with the same flow.

“Best AI photo editor that”

I've been editing with Luminar Neo and I like it a lot.

Pros : The interface is clean and intuitive, making it suitable for both beginners and pros. AI tools make complex edits easy and fast, usually in just a few clicks. I often use the for removing unwanted objects and I really like how it helps clean up my photos.

Cons : Performance is generally good thanks to it's optimized engine, though very large RAW files or mass batch edits can sometimes slow things down.

Reason to switch : It's the faster and easiest editor I've used. I tried it once and couldn't stop.

“Favorite photo editor”

Luminar Neo is going in the right direction. Yes, it does not replace Lightroom 100% yet, but in 80% of cases I do not open it.

Pros : With each update, Neo becomes more stable and flexible. Improved depth in Atmosphere AI, automatic correction appeared, you can export to DNG. Color, contrast, atmosphere - they are adjusted easily and accurately.

Cons : There is still a lack of full cataloging and group processing. Working with a large archive is not as convenient as in Lightroom.

What stands out most is how simple and intuitive the interface is — I can process a photo in just a few minutes, and the result looks wow! The toolset is quite extensive, with everything from LUTs and presets to overlays and creative effects. The AI-powered features are a real highlight for me. From the classic Enhance AI to water enhancement, twilight creation, and facial retouching — they all make editing faster and more creative.

Pros : Very easy to useGreat quality tools and content, Constant updates and new features Built-in marketplace for presets, effects, and overlays.

Cons : Some tools are still being refined and don’t always perform perfectly. There's no native text tool — you can only add text via overlays

“Great AI tools, easy to use”

The AI features do most of the work, but you can still tweak things manually if you want more control. Perfect mix for fast edits and creative flexibility. It’s been my main editor for months now, and I’m happy with the results.

Pros : Luminar Neo is super easy to use day by day. The interface is clean and intuitive, so I don’t waste time searching for tools. My favorite features are Sky AI, Relight AI, and the portrait tool and it is a one time purchase tool with no subscription.

Cons : I wish the Erase tool was more accurate, sometimes it leaves weird textures behind. Coming from Lightroom, I also miss more advanced file organization. It can lag a bit with large RAW files, but it’s not a huge deal overall.

Reason to switch : I used Let’s Enhance for basic upscaling, but I needed more creative tools

“I’ve enjoyed experimenting with Luminar Neo”

I’ve enjoyed experimenting with Luminar Neo, especially when I want quick edits or creative photo looks. The software is beginner-friendly and the AI tools are must-have for me now. I kinda like it when I can make one-click photo improvement. The Skin Retouching and Portrait Bokeh Effect are fantastic for portraits edits. And I love that feauture that can save my overexpose picture - really helpful. For now I don't see any conses for myself.

Pros : Extremely beginner-friendly with a clean and intuitive interface and powerful AI. Great for experimenting with creative looks, presets, and overlays.

Cons : While I haven’t experienced major drawbacks yet, I’ve noticed some tools might still need refinement and may not always be 100% perfect.
