“Employee self-service uplifted our HR image”

As HR lead I noticed many complaints around delayed payslip access and leave requests. With Payday Suite’s ESS module, we empowered employees and decreased support queries. That improved our internal service level.

Pros : The Employee Self Service (ESS) portal allows employees to download payslips, submit expense claims, track leave/attendance and view their tax planning.

Cons : A few employees struggled to navigate the new portal initially. Change management was needed.

“AI-driven anomaly detection caught mistakes early”

I was impressed when Payday Suite flagged an unusually high overtime entry before payroll closed, which we corrected in time. That helped avoid a large error. The AI-checks are a strong benefit.

Pros : The AI layer within Payday Suite flags payroll anomalies, validates payroll inputs and warns of exceptions before pay runs.

Cons : Occasionally we needed to tweak the rules so the AI doesn’t flag legitimate variations as “anomalies”.

Reason to switch : We switched because our previous system didn’t have proactive checks and we kept discovering mistakes post-payrun; Payday Suite’s proactive detection gave better control.

“Strong analytics and reporting but mobile-app could improve”

I often need to pull payroll summaries and compliance reports for audits; Payday Suite’s dashboards let me do this quickly. Employees appreciate the self-service payslip access. I’d like a smoother mobile UX though.

Pros : Payday Suite features reporting & analytics modules, document management and employee self-service portals.

Cons : While desktop workflows are solid, I found the mobile experience a bit clunky when employees accessed payslips or leave info on phones.

Running payroll across India, UAE and the UK used to be a logistical nightmare. With Payday Suite we consolidated all of them onto one platform. That saved duplication and improved visibility.

Pros : The platform supports multi-country, multi-currency payroll, statutory compliance across regions and AI-based checks.

Cons : For very niche country rules or extremely small subsidiaries our local vendor still had slight edge in local support.

Cons : Our on-premise installation required additional hardware and internal resource allocation, delaying rollout slightly.

“Good product, but internal change-management matters”

As CFO I championed the move to Payday Suite expecting immediate benefits. While many benefits arrived, the first few months were hectic: mapping policies, training staff and aligning legacy pay elements took effort. The tool is strong, but you must invest in change-management.

Pros : Payday Suite is feature-rich, modern and built for complex payroll needs.

Cons : Because it’s comprehensive, rollout required training, process re-engineering and stakeholder buy-in. Some users complained about initial user adoption.

Reason to switch : We switched because our spreadsheet-based payroll was increasingly risky, slow and error-prone; Payday Suite promised automation, compliance and scale. The switch is paying off, albeit after initial work.

Cons : Some legacy system integrations required custom work and took longer than vendor-promised out-of-the-box connectors.
