JioEvent can be hosted by visiting the official website or by going to Events section In JioMeet App (If enabled).
JioEvents can be used to host a multitude of events like webinar, Workshops, Virtual Training, Fests and Activities, AGMs, Talk Shows, Product launches, Concerts, etc.
Hosts can create the event and click on the share event link button: The Attendee link can be shared to the users who are supposed to join as the viewers. They can interact and react to the sessions via Q&A, Comments, Reactions and vote on the polls created. Panelist link, on the other hand, can be shared by the host to the speakers/presenters in a webinar.
The Host/Co-Host can join on Windows/Mac or Desktop Web Browser. Participants of all types can join on Ios/android devices, JioMeet Desktop (windows/Mac) or Desktop Web Browser. If you’re an attendee, you can join on JioMeet Mobile(Ios/Android, JioMeet Desktop (Windows/Mac), Desktop Web Browser or Mobile Browser.
While in a JioEvent, participants can share their screen by clicking on the share icon and selecting share screen option.
Yes, Participants can Change their backgrounds by clicking on up arrow key beside the camera button in a meeting and clicking the Change Background option. Participants can select any background option or upload any custom Background.
Hosts can download the recording of the events from Past Events panel’s Download Reports dropdown. The host will also receive an email notification with recording, post-event which can be downloaded or shared directly from there.
Yes. The host can make up to 5 other participants(s) as co-host, during an Event. While in an Event, go to the Participants tab and click on the Kebab menu (three vertical dots) beside the participants you wish to make a co-host. Next, click on the "Make Co-Host" option. The final step is to cclick on Yes, when prompted to share host rights with the respective participants.
Yes, in an ongoing JioEvent, one can go to Participants panel >> click ‘Invite Contacts >> search the contacts you wish to invite >> tap on the name. The invited contact will then receive the call to join the ongoing JioEvent.
Audience Mode in JioEvents aids in hosting a large event with speakers ranging upto 1030 where 30 active speakers (called JioEvents Participants) can drive the event with all the collaborative tools and rest 1000 in audience mode can be upgraded/downgraded as and when demanded as Participants.
The Participant mode will enable 30 active speakers to drive an event forward with all the advanced JioEvents collaborative tools. The rest, up to 1000 speakers can be in the audience mode with basic collaborative tools and can be upgraded/downgraded as and when required. This is done to aid the seamless execution of virtual events with a large user.
