“Comprehensive Reporting—but Needs Visuals”
I moved away from Excel reports to Ascent’s built-in dashboards. I can pull everything—from attendance trends to payroll costs—in moments. I’d just like more charts and visuals. Right now it’s mostly tables and CSVs.
Pros : Extensive HR and payroll reports, flexible export options
Cons : Dashboard visuals could be richer

“Easy Leave & Attendance Tracking”
Switching from emails and spreadsheets, my team now applies for leave and punches in attendance directly in Ascent. It's all synced and transparent. I miss having a native mobile app, though—we need to do this on-the-go.

“Great for SMEs, Less So for Complex Enterprises”
As a mid-sized company, we appreciated Ascent’s HR, payroll, and leave integration. Full-service vendors seemed overwhelming. However, if your company needs advanced modules like global payroll or L&D integration, this won’t cut it.
Pros : Perfect for midsized companies
Cons : Lacks deep features for larger enterprises

“Support Team Is Truly Supportive”
I swapped from a self-serve HRMS to Ascent because of its dedicated support via calls and email. They’ll guide you through everything—or even make small tweaks. At times I wish some things were easy to do myself, but overall, their help has been fantastic.

“Performance Reviews Finally Organized”
I moved from using Google Forms for appraisals to Ascent's built-in performance module. It reminds me automatically, tracks goals, and requires no chasing. The only downside? The review forms are out-of-box and need more customization for specialized roles.
